Co van Kessel, an innovative and adventurous Dutchman,
pioneered bicycle tours in Bangkok more than 20 years ago.
As a longtime resident and self professed lover of Bangkok,
he understood very well the picture of accelerated urban development
(grid locked traffic, concrete towers, and chocking pollution)
that has plagued the recent image of the city.He also had a hunch
that this was not what Bangkok or Thailand was all about.
Growing up being a Footy Fanatic ever since i was a kid…
Apart from those a kickabout with your mates in school yard
and staying up late watching the live game on the tele,
Subbuteo was also one other thing I spent alot of my
earlier childhood time fiddling around with it…..
For those of you who have had it… Even for the kids
in these latter generation who ever have experienced it

In 1971 Braun launched their first ‘digital’ clock
the Phase 1, the the DW20/DW30
designers Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs
It was the space-age and changing digits were considered
more modern than two hands on a clock face
In the early 1970s digital quartz technology was still evolving
To read the time a button was pressed: a constant display
was not possible due to the amount of battery power required.
So when the LCD (liquid crystal display) watch was introduced
it was seen as a big improvement.
